Exersaucer

I thought you might like to see her in action in her exersaucer. She gets pretty fired-up!

Exersaucer

Dean set up Kate's exersaucer last night. Of all the baby equipment he has had to set-up, this was the most time consuming. We put her in it this morning and she was beside herself! She would barely focus on one toy before she would see the next one. The seat spins so she can access all the toys and she was moving around in it really well. Her other new accomplishment is being able to roll over from her tummy to her back. We haven't been able to document this yet with the camera because she seems to know when we are trying to take video or a picture and freezes up!

First Father's Day

Dean celebrated his first Father's Day. Kate took her daddy out to dinner and then we went to Grandpa and Grandma K's house for the evening.

New Toys

Kate found her feet this week and it didn't take long to figure out how to put them in her mouth. She really enjoys these "toys" that are with her all the time. In fact, the other morning, the first thing she did when she woke up was grab her foot and put it in her mouth!!

First Friend

Our church had a picnic on Sunday. It was fun to hang out and especially fun to see all the babies born recently. Aimee was born 2 weeks after Kate. We put them side by side on a blanket and Aimee started fussing (picture 1), and then Kate reached over and grabbed her hand and it calmed her down (picture 2). I don't think they knew what they were doing but it was cute anyway!

Family Photo

This weekend Kate got introduced to Dean's extended family at his cousin's wedding. She finally got to meet Dean's Aunts and all his many cousins. She did well with the 2 hour car ride...sleeping virtually the whole trip both there and back. We took this picture outside of the wedding hall.

Snuggled with Daddy

I just thought this was cute!!

Three Months Old!

Kate turned three months old this week. She sure is changing fast. She can hold her head up very well, likes to sit and stand (assisted of course), and babbles constantly. She and Dean "converse" with each other. He asks her questions about her day and she answers him in her own language. She can get quite animated in her story telling. She is also figuring out her hands and most everything ends up in her mouth. She is really getting to be a lot of fun and I fall more in love with her every day!
