Fun stuff

My first box from Timber Creek Farms Organics. For $30 delivered I got:
lettuce
arugala
cilantro
some other curly green stuff
baby bok choy
2 zucchini
carrots
2 red bell peppers
cucumber
bag of radishes
bunch of celery
5 tomatoes
3 grapefruits
3 pears
bunch of bananas
pineapple

The milk eggs and cream I added on separately for an additional $.

Not sure what I think yet. I will use it all except maybe the baby bok choy and curly green stuff I don't recognize. I must say the salad I made tastes amazing and the milk is sooooo good. I have never had organic milk and there is a big difference in taste.

We had some bad storms roll through last night. After getting as dark as night, this was the sky after. Glowing yellowish green and weird looking clouds. There was a tornado warning but we never heard sirens. Some other areas had sirens going off.

On the move!

Collin has begun crawling...army style. He is getting faster and already getting into things. Yesterday has scooted over to the bookshelf and got a book off the shelf. He is getting into Kate's things. I have to re-examine where to put things and how to baby proof the house.

Oh yes. That is a bear you see that we spotted about 1/2 from Dean's mom's house. Needless to say we kept the kids close to the house while playing outside!

Doing dishes with Grandma...a rite of passage for a 3 year old in this family.

Dean headed up a benefit concert for Haitian churches for our churches organization Churches Helping Churches. It poured rain on and off right up till the start time...but you can see in the picture below Dean made the right call to keep it outside because the sun came out and it was a great evening.
