Apple Picking

We learned from last year that apple picking starts earlier than you would think.  And the good apples usually are earlier in the season.  That combined with a smaller crop because of the weather made us get an early start on apple picking.  We headed out to Royal Oaks Farm.  It was a really nice place with a restaurant, orchard, and play area for the kids.  It is a Christian company and it was evident by all the scripture posted all around the place.  We had a great day with great weather.

Grandma and Grandpa's Cabin

Labor Day weekend we spent at my parents cabin.  The kids had a blast riding the Gator (4-wheeler), walking in the creek, having a campfire, and going to the local fair.
