First Day of Preschool!

Kate had her first day of school today. They started with just an hour today and will have a the real 2.5 hour day starting Friday. She loved it!

Labor Day Highlights

Labor Day weekend we did a little yard work, had our neighbors over for a BBQ, and took a trip to the zoo! These pic are out of order but you get the idea:

The Zoo:

Not sure what this face is on Collin. Actually it is the face he makes when I say "Look at me."

This seal was hilarious. It would swim along as Kate ran along the windows. Then when she would stop it would stop too. As we left it just hovered at the glass looking sad.

Neighborhood BBQ:

Yard work with Daddy:

Little Girl in the Big City!

Dean and I took Kate down to Chicago for her first trip to the city. My mom graciously watched Collin all day so that we could spend some time with just her. It was soooo fun. She was a blast to sight see with. She loved the city so much she asked if we could live there.

Headed to the city.

Little girl in the big city!

The American Girl Doll store and LegoLand were next door to each other. To our surprise, she browsed the AG store but actually spent more time in Legoland and like it better! That's our girl! Who needs a $100 doll anyway!?

Some odd pirate show started in the Navy Pier garden.
