Visit From a Friend

My friend and college roommate Leslie visited with her baby Eva who is 4 days older than Kate. It has been very fun to be pregnant together and having babies that are so close in age. So far we have seen many similarities in the stages they are in and what we are experiencing as moms until...the two babies met. When Eva arrived Kate was so excited that she began flapping her arms and shrieking. Eva...more cautious and shy by nature wasn't too fond of Kate's volume and enthusiasm. Kate wanted to reach out and grab Eva and most likely chew on her, and Eva wanted to check Kate out from a far. By the end of the day they warmed up to one another and had more of mutual interest in one another. Dean said he thought we got a glimpse of Kate's personality.
